The battle against worship is constant. Thoughts of inadequacy, unworthiness or inferiority are part of a long list of hindrances. Others and surroundings can also be a factor. We can come to God despite our faults and limitations. As we draw nearer to Him through our worship, in truth, all obstacles disappear and only He matters.

One of the greatest blessings of the new covenant is our freedom to worship God in spirit and in truth. True worship is not measured by outward gestures or behaviors, but by an inward genuine love for God. The how matters internally, not externally. God doesn’t look at the outward appearance; God looks at the heart.

When our hearts long for His presence, the Spirit of God enables us to press through all difficulties. We love Him in response to His great love for us and express it during our daily activities, not just publicly on a Sunday. He is the strongest when we are the weakest. We worship Him with our heart regardless of what our head says, and our adoration increases, from glory to glory!

Hebrews 10:22 “…let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.”
