We war with our worship. It is a powerful weapon. It opens our spiritual hearing and sharpens all our other spiritual weapons so we can war effectively. When we worship, the world, the flesh, and the devil, disappears from our focus. The Lord is magnified and all else is minimized. Our expressions of love, faith, and trust in the Lord remove all worry. Fear cannot come and confidence in God’s outcome grows.

Because of its power, worship gets battled the most because it takes us into His presence and stirs up our prayers. When we go through afflictions, playing a worship song in a playlist or in our heart tunes us into the Lord’s presence and we love on Him. Worship is our first line of defense. In corporate worship we must ignore the thoughts that make us watch how we worship and let it flow from our hearts. We also shouldn’t look at the way others worship.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is alive and powerful! Instead of spending time rehearsing the worst outcome, let’s rehearse what we will do for eternity: worship the King, from glory to glory!

John 4:23-24 “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
