Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. For I rejoiced greatly, when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. – 3 John 1:2-4
Integrity and prosperity work hand-in-hand. If there are any areas where we are not walking in integrity, it hinders our prosperity. Success in appearance only, not birthed from integrity of heart, will fall to nothing. As we pursue our goal to remain faithful in all we do, the Lord honors our hunger for righteousness.
God leads us in our pursuit of walking truthfully. It might require confronting ourselves and others; but the result is freedom, peace and joy. It is a personal walk, as each of us learns what we need to take us further. The truth we come to know sets us free. It is an experiential knowledge, not head knowledge. The integrity He shows us leads us to greater prosperity. To prosper means to succeed. We reach the wholeness Christ has set us to attain in spirit, soul, and body.
As we seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, all things are added unto us. We enjoy our wealth in Him and trust He will meet all of our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus! Walking in truth, we are free from the lies of our adversary. Material prosperity means nothing without spiritual and emotional prosperity. We progress in truth, from glory to glory!
