God opens doors that no man can shut and shuts doors no man can open. His will and purpose for us are always greater than we can ask or think. We receive by faith what He has for us, even if we do not know what it is. Our trust is not in the doors–but in God. We walk through His opened doors with peace and surety.

It is in our seeking for more of God, instead of worldly successes, that His best plans for us unfold. As we delight ourselves in Him, desiring His presence and being content in all things, God opens unexpected doors. If a door closes, we do not get frustrated, but await the next open door with joyful expectation. We seek His best through each test.

As we walk through open doors, God shuts the doors of our past so they will not tempt us to go back. There are doors the Holy Spirit leads us to knock on, and there are others He opens automatically. These are activated as we keep our eyes on Him, and suddenly realize, “We have gone through another door,” from glory to glory!

Revelation 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “HE WHO HAS THE KEY OF DAVID, HE WHO OPENS AND NO ONE SHUTS, AND SHUTS AND NO ONE OPENS”
