Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.- John 8:32

We abide in the Word not by just reading it, but also by communicating with the Living Word, Jesus Christ. As we learn truths, we grow in discipleship and long to hear His voice. We commune with Him, and worship Him throughout our daily walk. The Spirit gives life to the written word and gives us our daily bread. Hallelujah!

As we see a truth in the word manifested in our lives, we become free from listening to the lies that oppose it. For example, we read the scripture that says God will meet our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus. Then, when God provides, that truth becomes experiential knowledge, not just head knowledge. We stand in it in future battles.

When needed, we look for scriptures relating to what we are going through, meditate upon it, talk to the Lord about it, pray that scripture, and stand on its truth until we walk in its manifestation. Faith in the Living Word frees us from fear. We praise the Lord, rest in Him, and with joy expect the word to come alive in and through our lives, from glory to glory!
