The Word of God is powerful. God watches over it to perform His will in our lives. He waters it and increases His reality in amazing ways. It is so powerful it sustains us in times of need, and carries us through times of drought, trials and sorrows.

It’s encouraging for parents who have been praying for salvation and victory of the Word in their children’s lives. When the Word has been planted into their hearts at a young age, it will eventually bear fruit. No matter where they are, the Word is with them. They may not know it, but God is working on a better future for them. He will put laborers in their paths; and He will direct their paths. His will and His way will be accomplished in their lives as He patiently shines His light upon their darkness.

As we minister to others, the Lord uses us to plant or water the Word of God. We can trust God with the results. Even when we are not there to see it, we can depend on the faithfulness of God. We feed the seed of the life of Christ in the lives of others. Instead of addressing the darkness, we increase the light. Instead of expressing concerns about the issues, we express the Word of promise and the victory it carries to all those we meet. We pray without ceasing, from glory to glory.

Isaiah 55:10-11 For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
