Seek God Early

Seek God Early

“My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up” (Psalm 5:3 NKV).

When we set out to seek God early, first thing in the morning, we meet distractions and disruptions. As we press through in our pursuit, it becomes second nature, even amid the hindrances. The benefits we reap from our endeavor help us stay on course.

When our focus is to seek God first, it affects everything else. It magnifies God, reminds us of His presence, makes the rest of our day flow in peace, and facilitates the practice of hearing from Him. It welcomes His will to be done His way, empowers us to confront whatever may come our way.

  • Acknowledge God’s presence as soon as you are awake.
  • Address Him sincerely, sharing your burdens, requests, and heart to Him.
  • Ask Him for His wisdom and guidance.

God delights in our pursuit of His presence and hears our heart’s cry. We express our love and gratitude to Him for all He is, all He has done, and all He will do in your lives. It is from our personal relationship with God that everything else flows, from glory to glory!
