Seeking God’s Ways
When God leads us to do something different, He lifts the anointing on what we were doing so we will know we are coming into a new season. When this happens, we might press through a current assignment, believing the problem is with us. As we seek our Lord, we realize it is His way of leading us to something new. As we delight ourselves in Him, He stirs a new desire in our heart and His peace engulfs our whole being.
God may show us what He has for us right away, or He may show us after we take a step of faith and stop taking part in our current assignment. When we find it difficult to continue doing what we are doing and it becomes a heavy burden, we must pray and pursue discernment on what is happening. Seasons of discouragement happen, and trials trouble our inner peace. Spiritual warfare can also disturb the delight we should feel walking in the ways of the Lord. The Lord orders our steps and our stops.
Whatever the case may be, we can commit our way to the Lord and trust in Him to bring to pass His desires for us, from glory to glory!
