Battling accusations

Battling accusations

When accusations came against Jesus, He answered not a word. He easily could have blown the accusers away, but He said nothing. He is our example. The problem with defending ourselves is that we could never stop. Because we believe our justification is in Him, we let our Lord be our defender. He lives to make intercession for us. Our Lord, who chose not to defend Himself, lives to defend us and He never fails, Hallelujah!

We know satan, our adversary, satan, as the accuser of the brethren. His accusations come to hinder our resting place in the Lord. The stand we take when this type of fiery dart comes our way is the stand in who we are in Christ. At times, nothing is said to us specifically, but we can sense a spiritual battle taking place. We resist by resting in our Lord with passion and a vision of His glory.

The Spirit of God leads us and we obey Him without knowing the details of His plan. We cannot explain to others what they can understand spiritually. We trust the Lord and rest in Him to reveal His will,  from glory to glory!

Psalm 62:2 “He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.”
