Glorious Circumstances
We seek to achieve our best as we submit to God’s leading in our relationships, careers, and plans for our future. However, many unanticipated incidents shake our security and attempt to bring havoc. These circumstances move us out of a place where we thought everything was set for God’s plan and take us where nothing is in place, only our faith in Him.
Because of a decree that went out from Caesar that every citizen should be registered, Joseph and Mary had to travel to Bethlehem and leave Nazareth where preparations had been made for the birth of their son, Jesus. It was there, away from home, that God’s purpose came to pass. The child was born where no provisions were available, not even a room in the Inn. Thus, He was born in a manger. Jesus’ arrival could not be stopped.
It is when what we depend upon the most falls apart that we learn to depend on God alone. He uses unforeseen, astonishing, and surprising situations to bring us into glorious moments of awe at His ability to manifest His perfect plan. Through those divine encounters, we grow from faith to faith, from glory to glory!
Luke 2:6 “So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered.”
