Knowing the Truth

Knowing the Truth

We abide in the Word not by just reading it, but also by communicating with the Living Word, Jesus Christ. We long to hear His voice, learn truths, and grow in discipleship. We commune with Him, and worship Him throughout our daily walk. The Spirit gives life to the written word and gives us our daily bread. Hallelujah!

As we see a truth in the word manifested in our lives, we become free from listening to the lies that oppose it. For example, we read the scripture that says God will meet our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus. Then, when God provides, that truth becomes experiential knowledge, not just head knowledge. We stand in it in future battles.

When needed, we look for scriptures relating to what we are going through, meditate upon it, talk to the Lord about it, pray that scripture, and stand on its truth until we walk in its manifestation. Faith in the living word frees us from fear. We praise the Lord, rest in Him, and with joy expect the word to come alive in and through our lives, from glory to glory!

John 8:31-32 “Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Free to Be

Free to Be

As God brings healing to our souls, He frees us to be ourselves. He shows us how much He loves and accepts us just the way we are, and how He loves us too much to leave us that way. The Spirit of God transforms us from the inside out. Acceptance of His unconditional love transforms us. By His grace, this freedom to be enables us to do as God leads us.

When searching for unconditional love, people might put on masks because they fear not being accepted for who they are. They desire others to see them in a certain way, often based on what they assume others are expecting. Masks that hide who we are apart from Christ drop as we walk in our new identity in Him. Instead of hiding, we discover our divine potential.

The anointing of God brings freedom to the captives. We walk free from other people’s approval, acceptance, and affirmation; free from past mistakes; free from fear of our future; free from guilt, shame, abandonment, and rejection; free from sin, death, and oppression. Knowing the truth about who we are in Christ sets us free from who we used to be. We are free to be, from glory to glory
