Pressing in through Praising
Things of this world, the flesh and the devil, come to hinder our walk with Christ; we must press through to live in our place of victory. The most effective way to press through is by praising the Lord.
The best time to praise the Lord is when we don’t feel like it. There is a strong anointing on the sacrifice of praise we offer to God. It requires pushing our flesh out of the way, taking every thought captive, and obeying, whatever the cost. As we praise Him and thank Him, we see the darkness and obstacles leave. The garment of praise replaces the spirit of heaviness. As we magnify His holy name, we sharpen our weapons of warfare. The more we extol Him, the more we trust His miraculous ways. It keeps us encouraged and edified!
Praising the Lord brings His presence into whatever scene we are facing. Heaviness might surround us from various sources; or some things might affect us more than we realize. As we praise the Lord, we shake the dust off our feet. We proclaim He is worthy, holy, able, mighty, awesome, and moving in our lives! We press through the stress and through the mess, from glory to glory!
Hebrews 13:15 “Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.”
