Let us not Grow Weary

Let us not Grow Weary

We can trust that our obedience to the Lord in even the smallest things will eventually bring forth glorious fruit. When we sense weariness while doing good, we guard against discouragement and press through by faith. Whatever we do, we do as unto the Lord. We do not lose heart because we trust He will give increase to what we plant or water for His glory.

What we sow may be time, money, or talents. We give unconditionally, with love. It may not appear to be much, but it is because it is for the Lord. It may not appear to be appreciated, but it is, by the Lord. It may not measure up to how much we would like to give, but it is, in the Lord. We give ourselves to the Lord and He gives through us.

When the due season to reap is upon us, we are the most battled. In those moments, the loving and giving heart of God that dwells in our heart flows even more. Whatever He asks us to do, we delight in doing. We obey with love and patience, and without complaint. We know we will see His glory, from glory to glory!

Galatians 6:9-10 “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.”

Divine Opportunities

Opportunity is defined as a favorable juncture of circumstances that bring advancement or progress. As a child of God, we have favor released on our circumstances without realizing it. Unexpectedly, amid our daily routine we receive a phone call, run into someone or are asked to do something unplanned. Our answer, our reaction to that happening, is what brings the manifestation of much more than we can see.

Sometimes it appears to be minimal, insignificant, of no importance or value; but with God’s favor, nothing is insignificant. At other times, it appears too big or totally impossible. Opportunities come suddenly so there is no time to hinder the outcome with our human thinking. We take a step of faith into what doesn’t have an immediate impact. When we are led by the Spirit of God, it almost always conflicts with what we see, hear or feel in the natural.

The Lord places someone in our path or something looking very ordinary to take us to the extraordinary. When opportunity knocks, let’s follow the leading of the Lord in answering it. God opens doors no one can close; He closes doors no one can open. We can trust Him and expect the unexpected, from glory to glory!
