If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. – Gal. 5:25 nkjv.
The moment we are born again, our existence transcends the physical; we begin to live in the Spirit. It is this dwelling in the Spirit that enables us to walk in the Spirit. We learn to avoid succumbing to the desires of the flesh, recognizing that our true nature is spiritual. As spiritual beings, each step we take brings us deeper into the rivers of God’s glory, especially as we realize we are already living in it.
In the Kingdom of God, many principles seem contrary to the natural realm. We die in order to live. We let go of the past in order to seize the future. We release others in order to be released. Belief precedes sight, not the other way around. We declare the unseen as though it is visible. We speak things that are not as though they are. We walk by faith, not by sight.
In contrast, the world often prioritizes intellectual and physical development over spiritual growth. In Christ, however, our spiritual development takes precedence and guides the other aspects of our lives. By immersing ourselves in God’s Word, finding rest in Him, and seeking His presence, we cultivate our divine identity. We walk in the Spirit, because that is our true dwelling place, from glory to glory!
