Turn Aside!
We often detect God’s presence in the details of our lives. When we take the time to look for Him, we find He is there, always. We can see Him on the scene of every happening in our lives. God saw Moses turn aside to observe the supernatural manifestation of the burning bush and then God spoke to him, calling him from the midst of the bush.
When we take the time to turn aside to pay attention to the Lord’s presence, we can expect God to communicate with us in greater ways. When we draw nigh unto Him, He draws nigh unto us. Our communication results from our communion. God knows how to get our attention and will continue until we pay attention to Him.
Our God sees us seeking Him and delights in being found. We seek Him until we perceive His presence. We can see Him in our circumstances, through others, and in the most unexpected ways. Distractions come to take us aside and steal our time. By God’s grace, we can stay tuned to the voice of the Lord. We look to Him, from glory to glory!
Exodus 3:3 “Then Moses said, ‘I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.’ So when the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, ‘Moses, Moses!’ And he said, ‘Here I am.’”
