Glory Carriers and Couriers!

Glory Carriers and Couriers!

The presence of Christ within us not only removes the darkness from within, but also the darkness we encounter. The light dispels the darkness; the darkness cannot dispel the light. The battles we go through often pertain to light coming against the darkness. We are not only carriers of the glory of God but also couriers. We are earthen vessels, and yet we have the glory of God within us.

It is a war between the flesh and the spirit. The key to releasing the anointing is to trust the treasure, not the earthen vessel. It’s not about me, myself, and I; but it’s all about the Lord Jesus moving in and through us! It’s the excellency of His power, not ours. We just yield ourselves to Him. It’s not based on how great we are, but on how great He is. Hallelujah!

We come to God surrendering our own knowledge, understanding, and reasoning. As we step into His purpose, our hearts cry out, “Oh God! Manifest your presence so that everyone will know who you are. Oh God! Let the world know that You are on the throne.” He dispels the darkness, His light shines through us, from glory to glory!

2 Corinthians 4:7 “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.”

Hidden Treasure

Hidden Treasure

I remember reading about the story of a man who bought a painting at a flea market for eighteen dollars. It was a simple painting, but the frame interested him. He purchased it and when he got home, removed the canvas. When he did, a piece of paper tucked inside caught his eye. As he carefully extracted the document, he found one of only four original copies of the Declaration of Independence which he sold for over four million dollars.

Our frame is what we are made of in the natural. In our lives, and the lives of others, we need to remove the frame to discover the wealth tucked inside. As we walk free from bonds that are part of our natural frame, the freedom we have in Christ unfolds. Our walk in Christ is a discovery process. We are on a treasure hunt, from revelation to revelation.

When our frame does not appear valuable, we go to the Word of God. The hidden wealth in the Word of God unfolds as we dig deeper and deeper. A scripture appearing simple, often carries an unseen treasure of wisdom. The Holy Spirit reveals who we are and what we have in Christ as we go and grow from glory to glory!

2 Corinthians 4:7 “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.”
