Fervently

Fervently

Have disappointments diminished the fervency of our prayers? Do we find ourselves hesitating to still believe God for something because it is taking longer than we anticipated? Do we still believe, but for only a little result rather than for all the manifestation? Whatever our answer to prayer is, God is increasing our faith for such a time as this!

Elijah did not just hear it was going to rain but heard the abundance of it. When we believe the Word of God, we too, by faith, can expect the abundance of the manifestation of His promises. When what we expect does not materialize, our hearing of faith is being battled.  We then take heed to limited hearing. Even when what we expect does not materialize, we still believe that God has His best for us.  Our expectations are to be for much more than what we can ask or even think.

Our prayers can remain fervent because they indeed avail much for God’s will to be done! The Word of God that we hear, we can surely stand upon as we pray and never give up. We can count on the abundance of what He promises in His Word. We stand by faith, expecting God’s best, from glory to glory!

1 Kings 18:41 “Then Elijah said to Ahab, ‘Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.’’’
