Impossible
The fire of God sent to Elijah’s altar licked up the water, the chosen remedy to extinguish fires. He removed all human possibilities so that everyone could recognize who He is and glorify Him alone. God specializes in doing what is unattainable, unachievable, and unfeasible. He makes possible the impossible. What a mighty miracle worker.
The Lord fed thousands with only five barley loaves and two small fishes. A coin appeared in a fish’s mouth so they could pay taxes. The men fishing received instructions to cast a net on the side where no fish were before, and a great catch came forth! Provisions come from unexpected places. Healing occurs when it is hopeless. A comatose patient sits up and starts praising the Lord. We can reconcile irresolvable differences. The most unlikely to prosper can attain success. Salvation comes when all seems lost.
What situations are facing us that only a supernatural manifestation of God can handle? We can expect the Lord to bypass our faith, our understanding and move in amazing ways. He is able, mighty, and amazing! God is awesome. We cannot explain the supernatural, but can attain it, from glory to glory!
1 Kings 18:38-39 “Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench. Now when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces; and they said, “The LORD, He is God! The LORD, He is God!”
