Lord of All
Jesus is Lord of all or Lord not at all. All our priorities align with this truth. Our focus must be on building His house, not ours. We are His (spiritual) building and we belong to Him, so we must decide with Christ as the foundation.
We surrender all: spirit, soul, and body, to Him. We are to consecrate, commit, and dedicate ourselves to Him. We are entirely His. We are no longer our own; we are the property of our maker. We live in complete submission to our Lord, regardless of the cost, with sincere dedication—obeying moment by moment. We forsake all for His sake. As we occupy ourselves with building His house, He gives us riches in all that we need. All the divine resources are available to us.
The tendency is to see what we can achieve with what we have. As God’s fellow workers in God’s field, we must count on what He has: His materials, His strength, His plan, and His will. We should make no plan without considering our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We bring His reality to all we do, and our spiritual house gets filled with His glory, from glory to glory!
1 Corinthians 3:9-11 “For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”
