Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. – 2 Cor. 9:10-11

As a child of God, we have a giving heart. God will give us seeds to plant when it is our desire. He provides us with the means to sow repeatedly when we plant in obedience to His leading. God so blesses the seed cast into the ground that it brings forth sufficiency for our current and future needs.

We do not keep a seed where we can see it, but plant it, trusting that God gives the increase. We can trust the harvest is coming. Between sowing and reaping, we do not grow weary in well-doing. We co-labor with God in caring for the field with joy and expectation of a significant increase. This pertains to us. We are seeds God has planted in the world.

For a great harvest, the Holy Spirit is being poured out. The enemy has been battling the seeds planted for God’s glory, but he cannot stop what our God is bringing to pass. The incorruptible seed of the Word of God planted in us brings forth fruits of righteousness in every area of our lives. It surely will not return to God void, from glory to glory!
