There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. – Rom. 8:1

Do we ever feel like we shouldn’t have done this, or said that? The offense least confronted is the offense we experience with our self. We often judge, convict, and declare ourselves guilty when the Lord has already declared us innocent. We are free from self-condemnation in Christ Jesus. This freedom helps us walk free from addiction, low self-esteem, and many other issues.

When the Holy Spirit convicts us of the ways we need to change, He comes with healing and comfort. God frees those He forgives. Satan accuses us and wants us to agree with his lies. In Christ, we are free from the accusations, insecurities, and lies that caused us to become stuck. No condemnation. We are no longer bound to anything that tries to hold us down.

We can trust what Christ has done on the cross. He carried our condemnation, in paying for the penalty for our sins. Let’s stand in the freedom we have in Him. God sees us clothed with the righteousness we have in Christ, not with filthy rags. Let’s not accuse ourselves; God has declared us not guilty! We seek and set our minds on the things of the Spirit, not on flesh, from glory to glory!
