Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. – Rom. 8:37

We go through battles where we might get wounded, but we do not lose the fight. It’s like being in a spiritual boxing match: there are rounds in which one opponent seems to lose, but it doesn’t determine who wins. We might lose a few rounds, but we are never down for the count. The enemy may think he is the winner, but Christ raises us up in His glorious power!

The Holy Spirit is like our trainer in that boxing match. In the ring’s corner, the trainer takes care of the fighter. He cleans up his wounds, gives him water, comforts, and encourages him. The Holy Spirit does that and much more. He heals us, anoints us, reminds us of who we are in Christ: winners. More than Conquerors!

We will never lose the battle that we have already won in Christ Jesus. We are in Him, and He is in us! Our adversary tries to get us to lose faith, but we fight with our faith, in faith, and become stronger in faith as we enforce the victory of the cross. It’s a good fight of faith, from glory to glory!
