Have we ever worked on a project, to no avail? Fishing but not catching anything? Taking an entire night pressing through with no results? It’s often during those times that the Lord leads us to do something that makes no sense. An instruction unrelated to what we are trying to accomplish, but afterwards, a realization of its success!

When we give priority to the Word of God in our lives, allowing Him to use our lives as He wills and obeying His directives, we can expect fruitfulness. What wasn’t successful before will be. Situations turn around and surprising opportunities arise when the Lord is Lord of all. Peter’s defeat turned into a victory when he allowed Jesus to have His way and the same happens to us.

What is it the Lord is asking of us today that He will use in our tomorrow? Amid failure, weaknesses and trial upon trial, the Lord prepares us for so much greater than we can ask or think. Let’s launch out in faith, trusting in Him, from glory to glory!
