One of the tactics of our adversary is to hinder us from seeking the Lord in our daily steps. We might get too busy or distracted and only turn to the Lord after our endeavors, instead of before. Taking a moment, even a few seconds to yield to the presence and power of the Lord before we do things, make way for His ability to flow through us.
In the natural, we do not have time for that extra moment, but in the spirit it is necessary. The moment we take that moment, time is extended, and we are graced to complete our tasks. A moment before we walk home to our family; a moment before we care for the children; a moment before that argument; a moment connecting with God Almighty. His strength to replace ours.
By faith, we surrender our next step as we yield to His strength, ability and grace in place of ours. This moment could only be by being aware of His presence and receiving His power. The Lord walks with us and empowers us, from glory to glory!
