Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying to them, ‘Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the gold image which I have set up?’ – Dan. 3:14

As we go through various trials, our adversary pressures us and asks, “Is it true that you worship God, that you trust Him, and that you believe He is going to deliver you out of the fire? Is it true?” Jesus is the author and the finisher of our faith, and as the fire increases, He increases His ability within us to stand by faith.

Becoming immovable in Christ is a process, and we quickly forget how far we’ve come! There was a time when our trust in God wavered more often; when our down times lasted days on end; when our doubts arose frequently, and our expectations of the future were for the worst probable outcomes. Now our confidence in the Lord has become decidedly more consistent.

We no longer let disturbances move in our place of rest in the Lord. As we realize Jesus walks with us and is with us in the fire, we go from strength to strength. It is true. We believe He is our savior, healer and deliverer even in hard times. He is the truth. Our faith carries us and enables us to walk the talk, from glory to glory!
