We give thanks unto God in all things. In any circumstance, we can thank God, trusting that He is working all things together for our good. It’s not for all things; it’s in all things because all things do not come from Him. The devil, the world and the flesh are the source of many undesired things, but our God is our very present help in times of trouble.

In whatever situation we find ourselves, we give thanks to God, by faith, knowing He is bringing His victory to the situation. Everything means everything, no matter how small or how big. God cares about everything that pertains to us. He watches over us, handling every detail. Along with giving Him thanks in all things, He tells us to pray without ceasing; and to rejoice forevermore. We can’t always rejoice in our circumstances, but we can always rejoice in our Lord.

Regardless of how long it takes for us to see the results of what God has prepared for us, we never cease to pray. We rejoice forevermore because one day we will look back on today and give glory to God for what He has done. We can depend on God’s faithfulness. We can thank Him in all things because He knows all things, He can do all things, and He uses all things in our lives to take us … from glory to glory!

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
