Instead of trying to figure out what we are called to do, we walk in what we are called to be, step by step. We come to realize we are called to be transformed into the image of the Son, Jesus Christ. We can rest and trust God for whatever we are called to do in His name.

The anointing we receive for our calling is an anointing for transformation. Then, as we partake of the character of Christ, the anointing to accomplish is increased. It’s when we do not think we are doing much– that much is happening. When we rest in the Lord, His glory rests upon us. The fruit of the Spirit, the results of our obedience, and God’s increase to and in our life will not be known until the Kingdom is fully in place. Some plant, some water, but only God gives the increase. We trust God for all that He does because of who He is. We concentrate on who we are becoming in Him, believing that we are in Christ and Christ is in us.

We are on call to do because we are called to be. The demonstration of our identification is filled with His glory. Greater works shall we do indeed as Christ is free to be. Our faith in who He is in and through us brings forth His marvelous works, from glory to glory!

John 14:12-14 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
