God’s Increase

I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 1 Cor 3:6-7 nkjv.

It’s when we do not think we are doing much–that much is happening. When we rest in the Lord, His glory rests upon us in increasing measure. We will not realize the fruits of our obedience and the increase of His glory upon our lives until God fully establishes His Kingdom. Some plant, some water, but only God gives the increase. We trust God for all that He does because of who He is.

Instead of trying to figure out what God calls us to do, we walk in what He calls us to be, step by step. We realize what matters the most is our transformation into the image of Jesus Christ. We can rest and trust God for whatever He calls us to do in His name. Because of our call to be, we are on call to do.

The anointing we receive for our calling is an anointing for transformation. Then, as we partake of the character of Christ, He increases His anointing upon us to accomplish. Greater works shall we do indeed as Christ is free to be. Our faith in who He is in and through us brings forth His marvelous works, from glory to glory!
