Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. – Is. 41:10-13
Fear of what is happening, of what may happen, or of what has happened is often a reaction to what we see or know in the natural. Fear to do, to speak up, to fail, or to be rejected pertains to what occurs in us. As we are free from the fear to, the fear of diminishes. Minor events no longer trigger fear from past traumas and result in distress.
Satan uses fear to hinder our walk of faith. However, putting our faith in who we are in Christ helps us overcome fear. As we learn to stand by faith, we recognize the different ways fear attempts to grip our souls. When we do, we press through to walk in the freedom we have in Christ. We draw near to God and trust Him to uphold us with His right hand.
Knowing God is near helps us remain in a place of peace. We are in Christ …and in Him there is salvation, righteousness, and abundant life. Let’s receive His help by faith. Our aim is to come closer and closer to Him. When fear grips us, the love of God embraces us, from glory to glory!
