The answer to fear is faith in God’s love. There is no fear in love so when we fear, we have not been made perfect in love. The moment we place our minds on God’s perfect love, fear is driven away and replaced with a peace that surpasses all understanding. We are complete in Him.
Perfect love casts out all fear, but fear casts out love. Our adversary, satan, uses fear to come against the love God has poured out on us. Trials we face come to cause us to question our security in Christ. God does not cause evil to come upon us to teach us lessons. He teaches, convicts, guides, and heals us by His Spirit.
When fear tries to grip our souls, we rebuke it and trust the love of God that the Holy Spirit has shed abroad in our hearts. As we do so, we are instantly empowered to stand in the midst of our trials.
Fear feeds failure and attracts our fallen nature. God’s love births and maintains our divine identity. If there is anything that we are afraid of, we trust our God to take care of it by the power of His love, from glory to glory!
