When everything around us seems to be falling apart, including ourselves, the only place to go is the feet of Jesus. In that place of surrendering everything to Him and pouring out our hearts, He removes whatever it is in us that could be keeping His life from flowing out of our hearts. We are closest to our breakthrough when we feel the farthest away from it.
The greatest breakthrough is not the bill that has been paid, the relationship that now works or whatever material need that has been met. The greatest breakthrough is the breaking forth of Christ’s life in and through us as it transforms us and gives us freedom. As a result, the trials we are in and what surrounds us …changes.
When chains are broken inwardly, there can no longer be chains outwardly. In Christ, we are constantly stepping forward even when we might think we are stepping backwards. The Lord gave thanks, broke the bread, and distributed it. When we experience brokenness, we give thanks to the Lord for preparing us to be a vessel He distributes His life through, from glory to glory!
Mark 8:6 “So He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. And He took the seven loaves and gave thanks, broke them and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and they set them before the multitude.”
