Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you.- Gen. 13:17

When God showed Abraham the land He had for him, He told him to arise and walk it, meaning to step into it, survey it, see its abundance, and possess it by faith. We, too, have received innumerable blessings because of what Christ accomplished on the cross. We are in our Promised Land and need to walk by faith.

For example, if your marriage is falling apart, walk it with your spiritual senses; see the two of you united and reconciled in love, joy, and peace. If your body is under attack, see it being healed. If you are looking for a job, see yourself being hired. You envision the best outcome because of what God has given you in Christ. Arise from any place where God’s will does not manifest and receive by faith what the Lord has already given you. Then walk it, walk it, walk it!

We cast down imaginations that pertain to fleshly desires. God reveals to us His promises that are ours as part of the incalculable worth of the blessings of the new covenant. We look behind what we see, and see Jesus on the scene, with all His glory. We walk by faith, not by sight, from glory to glory!
