The power of the Holy Spirit moves mightily when we are in one accord with Him. As we hear and believe the word of God, we come into agreement with the Lord. When we minister in the name of Jesus, we declare and enforce the truths of the gospel. This is done individually and corporately. Much more can be manifested when we are also in agreement with one another.

It’s important to be in one accord with the Lord before we seek to agree with one another. When we become aware of the presence of the Lord and are inspired to minister by going to visit someone, or to speak a word to someone, we must stop and remember He is first. Before we talk to someone, or touch someone, we must ask the Lord, “Is this a good time for this?” We yield; we give Him the right of way; we let Him go first. We follow the Holy Spirit. He doesn’t follow us.

There are power issues with unity; satan brings strife and division in an effort to stop the flow of His  power which frightens, scares and intimidates him. The Lord surrounds us with those we can trust to pray with us, with one heart, agreeing with what the Word says and with who He is. Together we stand; we conquer; we have the victory, from glory to glory!

John 14:12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”
