Do we ever feel we are not worthy of God’s amazing grace? When we fall short of the glory of God …God reminds us He is greater and knows all things. He knows everything that pertains to us: why we do the things we do, and why we don’t do what we should. Our humanity does not surprise Him, and His grace brings changes in our lives.

No matter how inadequate we feel, God is more than enough. We were unrighteous; He made us righteous in Christ. When our heart reminds us we are not doing or loving as much as we could, God reminds us of all He has accomplished for us. We are complete in Christ. The more we face our limitations in ourselves, the more we stand in awe of His ability, His grace, and His glory.

When our heart condemns us, we can have confidence in God. We may hesitate to move forward because we fear failing. We look at our past errors and do not proceed with the holy boldness we should have in Christ. Our confidence in ourselves quenches our confidence in God. However, we have a new heart filled with the life of God and grow, by His amazing grace, from glory to glory!

1 John 3:20-21 “… for if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God.”
