In addition to peace, there is a delight in walking God’s way. We can recognize if we are not doing what He has called us to do when we find it difficult to obey and feel burdened. This is also the case when we should not continue in an area where we have been involved. Our steps and our stops are ordered by the Lord.

The anointing for the calling comes with easiness, a flow of grace that confirms our steps are led by the Lord. We delight in His way. Battles do come, but it’s from outside sources. When God leads us to do something different, He lifts the anointing on what we were doing so we will know we are coming into a new season. When this happens, we might press through a current assignment believing the problem is with us. As we seek the Lord, we realize it is His way of leading us to something new. As we delight ourselves in Him, He stirs a new desire in our heart and His peace engulfs our whole being.

He may show us what He has for us right away, or He may show us after we take a step of faith and stop participating in our current assignment. In either case, we can commit our way to the Lord and trust in Him to bring His desires for us, from glory to glory!

Psalms 37:4-5 “Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.”
