Have you ever had a boss, principal, teacher or pastor call you into their office? When somebody calls you in, you might think, “This can’t be good. What have I done wrong?” These thoughts come from the lies satan speaks so we will expect the worst instead of the best. As we grow in the knowledge of God’s ways, we know that when God calls us in—it’s always beneficial.

God calls us in when He leads us closer to Him; when we spend more and more time in worship; when we are so intimate in our prayer time with Him that all else becomes invisible; when He has specific instructions to give us for what He wants us to do. We can expect the outcome to be glorious. His will is what’s best for us. When the Holy Spirit calls us to bring light in areas that need to be changed, He does so with love, edification and exhortation. He convicts with no condemnation. He calls out what can no longer stay with us and calls forth His ability to help us conquer what He shows us.

Even in situations when others might correct us in a wrong manner, God will use it for good because of His call upon our lives. In all situations, we can depend on God’s calling to supersede all others as He takes us from glory to glory!

Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”
