There is power in agreement. It’s better to have fewer prayer partners who are in one accord, then a large group with members who are not. In this season, God is releasing blessings upon the Body of Christ through our agreement.
Someone can believe the promises of God in their head but not in their heart. The agreement can only be in the hearts. It’s not something we decide to do; either we agree or we don’t. The Holy Spirit is the one who leads us to be in one accord. First, we come into agreement with the Lord, then with one another. We are of the same mind and the same opinion. We hear a truth and settle it to be so. We are in harmony, singing the same note, releasing the same sound and bringing forth God’s purposes.
Whatever desire God has put in our hearts today, let’s ask the Holy Spirit to bring us into one accord. Let’s ask and receive; seek and find; knock and watch every door open that He may be glorified. We shouldn’t spend time trying to have everyone agree with us. We seek and praise God for those He connects us with who are in one accord and we pray with thanksgiving, from glory to glory!
Matthew 18:19-20 “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there in the midst of them.”
