With every new level in God, our focus is honed in on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and Him alone. Anyone or anything that we focus on more than the Lord has to be put into a right order, with divine perspective. Distractions are removed so Christ can have our undivided attention.
It’s as we keep the Lord at the center of our focus that whatever tries to come between Him and us is minimized. We look to the Lord in every place so the emphasis is kept on His presence in our lives. We bring all situations back to our core. The dwelling of the Lord in our hearts is a truth we live by as we keep it as the center of our lives. When we exercise our bodies, we strengthen our core so all the muscles and joints are stronger. Spiritually, our core is Jesus and as we keep our focus on Him, our whole being is strengthened. He is the center of our joy and peace.
Are we in the midst of a decision, a conflict, painful occurrence or a joyful experience? In the midst, let’s keep Christ in the midst. He resides to preside. He has the preeminence over what seems important. We keep all with the Lord as and in the center. As we do, we put the Lord first and whatever is needed is added unto us, from glory to glory!
Matthew 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
