One of the many ways the Holy Spirit moves through us is through the “Bypass” anointing. When it flows, we stand in awe of His omnipotence, His magnificence, His grace and His reality. There are times in our day-to-day circumstances when we will feel the Holy Spirit cannot move through us. It may be that we have been hurt and haven’t had time to shake the dust off our feet; or our bodies are weak or in pain; or many other factors that could hinder the flow of the Spirit.
For example, Smith Wigglesworth arrived home very tired after a long hard day at work when he received a request for prayer. He obeyed the call to go and pray for that person. He stepped forth and the person was healed. God moves in spite of us. What matters is for us to remain available to Him at all times.
We do not wait until we believe we are ready. It’s when we feel the weakest that the dunamis power of God is the greatest. When we are weak, He remains strong. We trust the Lord as we step forth in obedience and rely on the Bypass anointing. It’s in those times that the Lord bypasses who we are–to be who He is; bypasses what we cannot do–to do what only He can do; bypasses the natural–to release the supernatural. We walk by faith, from glory to glory!
2 Corinthians 12:9 “And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
