All Things Together!

All Things Together!

The power of God moves on everyone involved to accomplish His purpose when it’s His timing. God speaks to all who have a part to perform for the whole to be achieved. It’s important to know that whoever He leads us to speak to, or meet with, He has already prepared accordingly. Trusting that God works all things together for the good helps us walk with surety in our steps.

Considering the whole helps us handle our part, we depend upon the Lord working in every part even when we don’t know the specifics. A known expression is we can’t see the forest for the trees. We are stronger together. Counting on what only one tree can accomplish might bring fear, loneliness and doubt. Knowing we are part of the forest brings faith, unity and great expectations. One tree cannot be watered without it touching the other trees. We are planted in the Lord and cannot be transplanted into a place where He is not tending to our purpose.

Many times some things are not happening because God is working on areas that are unknown to us. What God is doing is not always obvious, but we can trust that it’s for the best in everyone’s circumstances. When we move on to something new, we can depend on what He has laid out for us. He has a way of putting things together that is amazing. Let us continue to take each step, holding His hand, from glory to glory!

Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Dot-To-Dot

Dot-To-Dot

Whatever we think God is doing in our lives, we quickly find out He truly is doing much more. It’s as though we walk on a dot-to-dot pathway. With every step we take, a dot is connected and the picture becomes clearer. We not only go from dot-to-dot, but we are all like dots that God connects to accomplish His purpose.

We can’t guess what the full picture is going to be because each dot reveals something new of great importance to the whole. We can’t assume we know how each part is connected, but we trust God is working everything together for our good. We are His workmanship. He cares for us and even though we may not know what our tomorrow holds—we know He holds our tomorrow and we rest in Him.

We enjoy the journey moving from dot-to-dot knowing the next destination is only a new season, not the end. Even when we think nothing is moving, something is; we are just not aware of it at the time. Constantly trusting there is more to attain helps us remain hopeful and not get discouraged. Going from dot-to-dot means there is more, from glory to glory!

Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Forgiving God

Forgiving God

He had been waiting many years for the woman he knew was going to be his wife. In his daily prayers he surrendered the relationship to the Lord asking for His will to be done. Time was passing quickly and the young lady still didn’t respond to his courting. When he asked the Lord to remove his desire for her from his heart, it remained and became even stronger. Anger, doubt and sadness began to fill his heart. God, why did you put this desire in my heart for her if she is not the one? God should I still wait? Hope? Pursue?

What he needed was to recognize and remove his unforgiveness towards God, and to freely open his heart for God to move. Whether it’s a relationship, business, ministry or an endeavor, questions may come forward when what we believed God for doesn’t happen or when the way it happens differs from our expectations. Seeds of unforgiveness towards God are not easily detected. Like all forgiveness, it’s attained by abiding in God’s unconditional love. The moment we forgive love abounds and brings rest in our souls.

We trust Him for every outcome as we walk by faith, not by sight. Time is not a factor. We rest in His ability to bring about the best for us, and for His will to be done as He works all things together for good. Our part is to love Him relying on His care, from glory to glory!
