Repairer of the Breach

Repairer of the Breach

The restoration we have in Christ is such that not only what was lost is brought back, but what was broken is repaired. This is manifested day by day as we are being renewed and restored by the grace of God.

The anointing of the Holy Spirit destroys what is yoked together that should no longer be; and gathers together what should be, but isn’t. So many things have been broken in our lives that often we are unable to find the pieces, but the Lord knows where they are and gently makes us whole. With each breakthrough His riches and His glory increases.

As He puts the broken pieces of our lives back together, peace is restored. What had been held back is released. What was separating us from our purpose is removed. Blocking walls are destroyed, and freedom to move in God is increased. We, then, also become restorers of the breach, bringing the healing of the Lord to the broken lives around us, from glory to glory!

Isaiah 58:12 “Those from among you shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell in.”

One More Touch!

One More Touch!

When Jesus asked the blind man if he saw anything, the blind man looked up and answered that he could see men like trees, walking. Then Jesus put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. The blind man was then restored, and saw everyone clearly. Spiritually the Lord touches us again and again until we are restored and can see things clearly.

The Lord’s plan is greater than what we can see. He desires that we know His will undoubtedly; and through various ways; He brings clarification and confirmation again and again. Some things He has for us are so great that if He would show them to us too soon, we wouldn’t believe it. The Holy Spirit will gradually bring to light what we need to know. When things are not clear, we ask the Lord to touch us again and again until our next move is visible.

The Lord anoints our eyes to see what He has for us. Receiving His sight, His vision for us, is like removing a veil; things we see become clearer than ever before. We see Him, others, and even ourselves with increasing glory. Our spiritual vision improves and we can see how all things will be restored. What a blessing it is to know that even though we see dimly now, it is only temporary. The Lord’s hand is upon us, from glory to glory!

Mark 8:24-25 “And he looked up and said, ‘I see men like trees, walking.’ Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly.”
