Yes, Lord!

Yes, Lord!

Yes is a powerful word. It affirms, edifies, encourages and renews hope. Yes represents covenant. The promises of God are yes and amen in Christ Jesus. We believe and receive what we have in Him. We agree with the Word of God.

God’s promises are often not taken seriously by those that equate His promises with man’s promises. Know this: He is not a man that He should lie. His promises are not only to be expected, they are to be embraced. The no of man cannot hinder the yes of God. The Spirit of rejection brings hesitation to our surety in what we have in Christ. As we receive the yes of God, we are healed from all rejection.

We lay hold of the promises of God through prayer. We declare amen, so be it, to what we know He has done. We glorify Him. In Him, there is only yes. Surely, truly, verily He is the bread of life when we are hungry; He is the way when we seek direction; He is the healer when we are sick; He is our deliverer when we are bound; and He is our provider when we are in need. Let us go boldly to the Throne of Grace in time of need, from glory to glory!

2 Corinthians 1:20-22 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

Walking by Faith

Walking by Faith

As children of God we walk by faith, not by sight. We stand by faith until our circumstances align with the promises of God. Our faith is alive and active. By faith we see, speak and seize our potential in Christ.

Faith sees what cannot be seen with eyes in the natural. What God has done can only be seen through spiritual eyes. Faith is the evidence of things not seen. While we are waiting for the manifestation of what we believe God will do, we need to spend time with the Lord so our vision remains clear and sharply focused. As we seek God for direction, He anoints our eyes to see His answers ahead of time. As we see them, we are able to speak them forth with confidence. We stand on what the Word of God says, regardless of any other word our natural ears might hear. By faith, we proclaim the truth and see the lies being rebuked instantly. The more we believe the promises of God in our hearts, the more we can declare them to the darkness that occupies our surroundings.

Faith seizes what has already been done in Christ. By faith, we lay hold of the victory and stand as overcomers in any situation. We take possession of what has been accomplished for us by our Lord, Jesus Christ. We see, say and seize from glory to glory!

Romans 1:17 “For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.’ ”
