Draw It Out!

Draw It Out!

When the Lord leads us to do something in His name we can trust it will be anointed because it comes from Him. He told the servants to fill the pots with water and after they filled them to the brim, He told them to draw some out and take it to the master of the feast who needed wine. When we are given an assignment, we can trust that as we draw out what He has placed in us, what is needed will be manifested.

We are like the pots. We are filled with the Lord; He has deposited so much in us, more than we can see. When it’s time to do what He tells us to do, regardless of how small or great it appears to be, we can withdraw by faith in what He has for the mission. When we fill up a drink to the brim and place the cup in our car, the liquid spills over when we drive over a bump. In our lives, we are to fill ourselves to the brim with the things of God so that when we drive over a bump it’s His ways that spill over. The bumps others bring into our lives cause what the Lord has placed in us to be drawn out.

The supernatural comes out unexpectedly. Out of our hearts flow rivers of living water. We never run out of what is drawn out to water others so that the Lord is glorified. There is always enough in the cup, and the overflow increases. Our cup runs over and the more we give, the more we receive, from glory to glory!

John 2:8 “And He said to them, ‘Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.’ And they took it.

There Must Be More

There Must Be More

As we experience the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives, we become aware that there is a purpose for the anointing on our lives. We have been given a guarantee, a deposit, to assure us more is coming. We trust that as we walk out our purpose, the more that is needed will be given.

We can depend on God’s ability to accomplish whatever task He leads us to do. We can rely on His leading, knowing He will give the needed instructions when it’s time. He will impart unto us the unction for every function. He does so as we step out, not before. It is as we obey that things are clarified. It is as we go forth in weakness that His strength is perfected. We are appointed for specific assignments. As these unfold, confidence in Him gives us boldness to move with surety in our steps.

We receive, by faith, what God has given us and we must walk in faith to keep it. Every thought that is opposite to what faith has acquired must be taken captive to the obedience of Christ. Not only are we called by God, we are anointed and appointed. Let’s accept His precepts. Let’s expect the unexpected, from glory to glory!

2 Corinthians 1:21-22 “Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.”
