Our Hour

Our Hour

Jesus waited for His hour to come; we also may be waiting for our hour to come. The hour for the Lord was to fulfill His purpose: His crucifixion, resurrection and ascension. It was the hour when His Father would be fully glorified and Jesus’ mission would be completed. There is an hour set for us, the Body of Christ corporately and individually, when we step into our season of greater purpose.

Are we ready for our hour? Are we studying the Word of God? Are we worshiping the Lord? Are we praying? In a moment, our hour will come. Something significant will be asked of us. An opportunity will come to take us to our destiny. When this life changing season comes, we must be prepared to step into it by faith. When Jesus told Mary His hour had not yet come, He called her “woman” because His hour and His mission was going to be accomplished by the Son of God, not her son in the natural. He then worked miracle-upon-miracle until His greater purpose was achieved.

We are walking into our divine identity, addressing things in the natural from our place of belonging to Father God, preparing for our hour. The authority and anointing the Holy Spirit is increasing in our lives is for us to walk in what He has prepared for us. As we are expecting our hour, we are walking in miracle upon miracle, from glory to glory!

John 2:4 “Jesus said to her, ‘Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.’ ”
