Priceless Lives

Priceless Lives

As children of God, we are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. As we are good stewards of what God has given us, He makes more of our inheritance available to us.

There are some things we might not treasure because they appear to be insignificant. The whole picture is not seen, so the little parts do not seem valuable. We may also give some things more importance than necessary. Our priorities might not be in the proper order. What often changes our outlook on things is knowing the value we have in God. As we value who we are, we value what we have. As we receive the love of God, we comprehend our worth in Him with more clarity. We are then able to love Him, others, and ourselves understanding our lives are priceless.

Everything that comes from God is to be appreciated, including other members of the body. We are to treasure the gifts we are to one another. We are to cherish the people God has brought into our lives for divine purpose. In order to flourish in our divine identity we need to be respected, appreciated and valued. As this is received from God Himself, rejection is overcome, offenses are overlooked and fulfillment is attained. We treasure the giver of gifts, from glory to glory!

Romans 8:16-17 “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”

Sonship

Sonship

We have the Spirit of Christ in our hearts crying out, “Abba, Father.” When we do not know what to pray, He prays. As born again believers, we have been adopted into the family of God. We are sons, no longer slaves. As sons, we are heirs of God through Christ.

This sonship gives us access to all that belongs to our Father God. This inheritance goes beyond anything we can understand or perceive on our own. It is not of this realm. It is what is in heaven that will be on earth. It is abundant riches in every area of our lives. It is life and life more abundantly. The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy; but Jesus comes to give us His life. When we know we are sons, it is no longer important for us to lay hold of our inheritance. The Holy Spirit reaches out for what our Father has given us.

When division comes, sonship calls upon unity. When fear comes, sonship calls upon faith. When hopelessness comes, sonship calls upon hope. When lack comes, sonship calls upon provision. When the thief comes, sonship calls upon Father. When people look at us they are able to tell who our Father is, from glory to glory.

Galatians 4:6-7 “And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, ‘Abba, Father!’ Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”
