No Shame!

No Shame!

We will not be ashamed of our hope, faith or confidence in God. What the Lord has spoken will be done. Whether we are going through a barren season, a dry season, or a challenging season–-we can trust and know the season will come to an end. We can stand, believing. Our walk of faith in the Lord will never be in vain.

We can rest assured knowing that because we stand on God’s word, we will never experience a day of unbelief. We will not be put to shame, embarrassed or humiliated because of our faith. Some may have watched us standing on the promises of God with cynicism believing we would give up and fail. However, the exact opposite has been happening. Instead of giving up, we pursue additional endeavors. Our vision is ever expanding. We are stronger than we’ve ever been. We are united to exhort, encourage and edify one another as we stand together in a spirit of love.

Delays and battles do not diminish our fire for the things of the Kingdom; they fuel it…with passion and determination. We will not be disappointed. It will be seen: we have been appointed and anointed for such a time as this, from glory to glory!

Isaiah 54:4 “Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; For you will forget the shame of your youth, And will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore.”

Who’s Fire?

Who’s Fire?

How do we know whether it’s the fire of God, or the fire of satan, at work in our lives? When we are in battles, it’s important for us to know the source of our troubles in order to war effectively.

We can discern when the fire is of God, or of satan, with many easily recognizable clues. The fire of God comes to lift us higher, not crush us. It purifies us by removing impurities and drawing us closer to His purity. It burns on the inside enabling us to walk in the holiness we have in the Lord. It doesn’t destroy us; it puts us together. It doesn’t hurt; it helps. It doesn’t kill; it brings life, hope, love and peace. The fire of satan is the opposite. Its fire is from outside sources that bring destruction, death, despair and desolation.

God loves us and His mighty works are to bring us closer to Him, and one another. He moves from above to lift us up, not from beneath to bring us down. He doesn’t condemn us, but convicts us so we can walk in the purity of His holiness. We receive His cleansing and walk in His glory, from glory to glory

Luke 9:54-55 And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?” But He turned and rebuked them, and said, “You do not know what manner of spirit you are of.”
