We believe that the Lord will raise us up, that all things will work out for His glory because that’s what God has spoken and we trust in His word. It is very important that we speak words of faith in times of difficulty. We speak forth what the Lord has said, repeating His truth so that lies are dispelled. We believe, therefore we speak. We do not lose heart because we truly believe that all things are for our sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.
Because God said He will never leave us, nor forsake us, we may boldly say, “the Lord is my helper, I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” We do not lose heart even though our outward man is perishing, because our inward man is being renewed day by day. We have the spirit of faith and do not murmur and complain, but speak words of life, hope and joy.
Yes, times may be difficult, but we have the spirit of faith. Yes, our bodies may be going through pain and aging, but we have a daily spiritual renewal that cannot be stopped. Yes, darkness is increasing all around us, but the glory of God is increasing much more and will be spread throughout the whole world. Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. Hallelujah! We believe, therefore we speak, from glory to glory!
2 Corinthians 4:13-16 And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, ‘I believed and therefore I spoke,’ we also believe and therefore speak, knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you. For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God. Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
