Are pressures and distractions trying to move us out of our assigned place? Each of us has our own lane. By the grace of God, we can watch our boundaries and keep our peace.
When we drive on a highway, we may see some who move too fast or too slow. Others may not be paying attention to the road or other vehicles. The moment they try to move us out of our place, the battle begins. For example, another car drives very close behind us to force us to move. The more we ignore them, the closer they follow. Will we react in anger? Compete with them? Or allow God to use this incident to strengthen our boundaries?
In our lives, pressures come to move us out of position. We can get too busy focusing on other people’s lanes instead of our own. Helping others while neglecting our own space can build resentment. Maybe their lanes look so attractive that we desire theirs more than our own. Let’s trust God where He has placed us and yield to His leading. The Lord will help us remain steadfast as we keep our eyes on Him and follow His instructions from glory to glory!
Psalms 37:23 “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, And He delights in his way.”
