Our prayer for ourselves, and others, should be for the Spirit of Revelation to bring forth truth in every area of our lives. When Peter told Jesus that He was the Christ, the Son of the living God, Jesus told Him he was blessed because flesh and blood had not revealed this to Peter–but His Father who is in heaven. Upon this rock Jesus is building His church; and He has given us the keys of the Kingdom.
We can only believe and receive the blessings of God by the revelation Father God gives us, from faith to faith. We seek revelation for every decision we are facing and should never do anything based on the revelation someone else obtained for themselves. When doubts came to quench things that were revealed to us in the past, the Lord will bring these anew as we seek Him wholeheartedly. When God reveals something to us, we are able to stand firmly and be immovable. Others cannot always grasp a revelation to the extent we have, but they can rejoice and stand in agreement with us by faith and their own walk in revelation knowledge.
We may try to get others to understand a truth we believe in, but it’s only when the Lord Himself reveals it to an individual that they can walk in that truth. God reveals to heal so we can rejoice that with revelation comes the anointing and healing of the Lord, from glory to glory!
Matthew 16:15-18 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.”
