Where should we go? What should we do? How do we know the direction God wants us to take? What God wants, He is able to bring to us. His desire for us to know His will is greater than ours. Our risen Lord steps into our lives and instructs us when it is needed — with clarity and divine alignment.
When God leads us, He aligns His peace with His purpose and His power. His Peace comes first. It’s experienced when we hear God’s instructions, not just when we obey. It must accompany what we hear and what we do, or we should wait until we have His peace. The peace of God surpasses all understanding. It’s noticeable because it comes with His love and His joy. It comes without any “buts,” without any fear, without any second thoughts and it comes to stay. His peace doesn’t go away even when we are in the midst of a trial.
We know it is not there when we experience the opposite: confusion, turmoil, mind battles, and unceasing oppression. It comes suddenly, unexpectedly. His peace cannot be explained by human reasoning for it cannot be understood; only embraced. It is associated with great faith. In that place of peace, we believe all things are possible with God and receive His breath of life as we go forth from glory to glory!
John 20:21-22 “So Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.’ And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit.’ “
